I met this frog on a reishi mushroom (Ganoderma species)  many years ago. If you know what species he is, please let me know. This reishi is coated with spores from the fungus above. Usually, they are a bit more vibrant and shiny.

On this particular trip to the swamp I went with a herp specialist and well, this is so obvious now you guys, but he told me to always try and catch the frog and put it on a red or orange thing. Like a leaf or something…and in this case a reishi mushroom. Even better, if you cover them up with your hands or an upside down terra cotta pot they calm down and will sit still for their portrait.
